Karazin University Joins the Implementation of the STUDBIZ Project

Representatives of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies of the Education and Research Institute "Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy," in partnership with the public organization "Innovative Generation" (INNOGEN), have become partners of the international project "Student Social Enterprises to Support Youth in (Post)War Ukraine" (STUDBIZ Ukraine). The project is implemented by the School of ME (Public Organization "School of Conscious Entrepreneurship") with the support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ) and the organization ChildFund Deutschland e.V.
On March 10–11, March 24–25, and April 15–16, 2025, the School of ME team conducted three training modules for project trainers and mentors at UNIT.City Innovation Park in Kyiv. Participants included representatives of ten youth centers for the development of social entrepreneurship in educational institutions.
Our team was represented by activists of the public organization "Innovative Generation" and specialists of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies of the Educational and Scientific Institute "Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy" — Tetiana Kostrova, Maksym Baturin, and Roman Nesterenko, Deputy Head of the International Relations Department.
Within the training for trainers and mentors in social entrepreneurship at educational institutions, participants worked on idea generation and performed practical tasks to strengthen their skills in the field of social entrepreneurship.
On April 10 and April 18, representatives of Karazin University conducted school social entrepreneurship training sessions at the Blyzniuky Lyceum of the Blyzniuky Settlement Council of the Lozova District, Kharkiv Region, and at the Kobeliaky Lyceum No. 2 named after Oles Honchar.
The trainings focused on identifying social issues and addressing them through social entrepreneurship initiatives that students themselves could organize within their schools.
On April 14, the first batch of equipment for the development of a Social Entrepreneurship Development Hub in educational institutions — based at the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies of the Educational and Scientific Institute "Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy" — was received within the framework of the STUDBIZ Ukraine project. It included a sublimation printing equipment set.
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the public organizations "School of Conscious Entrepreneurship" and "Innovative Generation" as part of their work on the project implemented in partnership with ChildFund Deutschland e.V.
The memorandum outlines the development of the Social Entrepreneurship Development Hub at educational institutions based at the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies of the Education and Research Institute "Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy."
