Karazin Joined the Meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha

A meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiha, and representatives of higher education institutions that train highly qualified specialists in the field of international relations.

The university was represented at the event by Natalia Vynnykova, Head of the Department of International Relations at the Education and Research Institute "Karazin Institute of International Relations and Touravel Business."

The focus of the discussion was on strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine regarding the adaptation of educational programs to meet the needs and requirements of personnel for the Ministry's central apparatus and Ukraine's diplomatic missions abroad.

During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the introduction of an openness strategy in recruitment, prioritizing the engagement of young specialists. Specifically, the Ministry is expanding internship opportunities for students, both within the Ministry’s central apparatus and in diplomatic missions abroad.

Detailed information about internship programs for students at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and future employment prospects was presented by Viktoria Lialina-Boiko, Director of the Department of Public Diplomacy and Communications, and Vitalii Moshkivskyi, Head of the Personnel Management Department.

During the meeting, representatives of the academic community also raised the issue of grant support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for international relations scholars, as well as the possibility of internships for academic staff in Ukraine's diplomatic missions abroad.

  • Vitalii Moshkivskyi — Head of the Personnel Management Department;
  • Anastasiia Nehoda — Head of the Personnel Planning and Analysis Division at the Personnel Management Department;
  • Anna Dranchuk — First Secretary of the Personnel Planning and Analysis Division at the Personnel Management Department.
