Karazin University took part in the Ceremonial Events Dedicated to the International Day of Women and Girls in Science

On February 14, a celebration dedicated to the International Day of Women and Girls in Science took place in Kharkiv.
Higher education institutions, including our Karazin University, organized a scientific exhibition in a safe space, which was attended by over 500 school students from the city.
The students had the opportunity to explore scientific experiments from the Educational Laboratory of Physics Lecture Demonstrations of the School of Physics, see devices made with a 3D printer from the Education and Research Institute of Computer Physics and Energy, and interact with representatives of the "Karazin Institute of International Relations and Tourism Business."
The Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, attended the event and emphasized the importance of women scientists in promoting the city through scientific achievements. On the occasion of the celebration, the Mayor's acknowledgments were presented to university staff members, including Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Sociology and Social Communications Olena Volianska and Head of the Department of International Relations Nataliia Vynnykova.
