Karazin Athletes Successfully Competed in the Ukrainian Archery Cup

From October 6 to 9, 2024, the final of the Ukrainian Archery Cup took place in Chernivtsi. Five students and graduates of Karazin University participated in the competition.

Mykyta Dyunyashev, a student of the School of Law, placed 8th individually, 7th in the men's team competition, and 8th in the mixed team event. Dmytro Shabanov, a student of the School of Economics, placed 33rd individually. Mykyta Kravchuk, a graduate of the Education and Research Institute of Computer Physics and Energy, placed 9th individually and 4th in the men's team competition.

Viktoriia Stepanenko, a graduate of the Karazin Institute of International Relations and Touravel Business, placed 9th individually and 9th in the women's team competition. Tetiana Davydenko, a graduate of the School of Geology, Geography, Recreation, and Tourism, placed 9th individually in the compound bow category.

The competition, which marked the end of the outdoor season, summarized the results of the 2024 competition among adults and juniors, which will determine the Ukrainian national team for the upcoming year.

Based on his 2024 performance, Mykyta Dyunyashev ranked 1st among juniors and 17th in the adult ranking. This year, Mykyta became a two-time junior champion of Ukraine, a finalist of the Ukrainian Championship, a participant in the European Junior Championship, and a silver medalist of the Ukrainian Universiade in the mixed teams category.

Viktoriia Stepanenko ranked 16th in the 2024 women's ranking, became a two-time champion of the Ukrainian Universiade (individually and in team competitions), a silver medalist in the mixed teams category, and a bronze medalist in the Ukrainian Championship among sports schools.

Mykyta Kravchuk ranked 16th in the 2024 men's ranking and won a bronze medal at the Ukrainian Championship in the team competition.
