Karazin student Volodymyr Kochanov became the bronze medalist of the 2024 U23 World Freestyle Wrestling Championship

Volodymyr Kochanov (Institute of International Relations and Travel Business, Karazin University) became the bronze medalist of the 2024 U23 World Wrestling Championship. The competition took place from October 21 to 27 in the capital of Albania, Tirana.

In the bronze medal match, the Ukrainian confidently defeated Azerbaijan's Aydin Ahmadov (11:0).

It is worth noting that in March 2023, Volodymyr became the silver medalist at the U23 European Wrestling Championship.
