Karazin Weekends Legacy Has Started: More Than 200 School Students Immersed Themselves in the Atmosphere of Science and University Life

23 november 2025 year

On 22 November, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University hosted the festive opening of the new season of the educational project Karazin Weekends Legacy, which offers school students the opportunity to feel part of the large Karazin community. This year, more than 200 students of grades 8–11 joined the project, ready to spend their weekends in a world of discoveries, experiments, and intellectual adventures.

Traditionally, the opening event began with a ceremonial welcome from the University administration. After the official part, participants took part in a university quest: school students explored thematic locations, solved challenges, and got to know the spaces, history, and spirit of Karazin University in an interactive format.

The educational part of the programme will start on 29 November. For several weeks, every Saturday, young participants will attend engaging offline sessions: conduct experiments, work in teams, create their own projects, and immerse themselves in the university atmosphere.

School students who attend at least half of the sessions will traditionally be invited to the festive graduation ceremony, which will conclude their journey through the world of knowledge.

Karazin University continues to open its doors to future applicants, creating a space where knowledge becomes an adventure and learning becomes inspiration!
