Final of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Physics

From March 24th to 29th, 2024, the IV (final) stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Physics took place in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. Eight students from Kharkiv region participated in the IV stage of the Olympiad.

Among 5 winners of the Olympiad, 4 students from educational institutions in Kharkiv achieved victory, thanks to the efforts of experienced mentors from Karazin University.

Students of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Honored Teacher of Ukraine, Professor of the School of Physics at Karazin University, Zakhar Maizelis, received diplomas:

• II degree — Victoria Borziy, 8th-grade student of the Kharkiv Lyceum No. 161 "Impulse" of the Kharkiv City Council;
• III degree — Anna Belyaeva, Anton Bukhtatiy, 11th-grade students of the Kharkiv Lyceum No. 161 "Impulse" of the Kharkiv City Council.

Also, Anton Matyash, an 11th-grade student of the Kharkiv Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 27 of the Kharkiv City Council, received a diploma of the III degree. The teacher is a graduate of Karazin University, Hero of Ukraine, Honored Teacher of Ukraine, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Illya Gelfgat.
