Day of Ukraine’s Liberation from Fascist Invaders

28 october 2025 year

On October 28, Ukraine honors the Day of Liberation of Ukraine from Nazi occupiers — an event that has become a symbol of the courage, unity, and indomitable spirit of our people. This day is not only a remembrance of the past but also a guiding light for the future, reminding us of the high price of freedom.

Karazin University pays special tribute to those who defended the life and dignity of Ukraine during the Second World War. Among them were lecturers, students, and scientists who fought, healed, taught, and rebuilt. Their heroism is a reminder of our responsibility to the past and the future, and of the unity of generations who have always stood in defense of freedom.

We remember those who liberated Ukraine and thank those who defend it today.
