Day of Remembrance for Children Who Died as a Result of the Armed Aggression of the Russian Federation Against Ukraine

4 june 2025 year

The world should not know children's graves. But it does. And Ukraine — knows far too many.

On this day, we bow our heads in sorrow for those we could not protect. For those who should have been playing in sandboxes, not hiding in bomb shelters. Who should have been learning their ABCs, not dying from rockets and shells.

Today, we honor the memory of the children whose lives were cut short by the war unleashed by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. Behind every statistic are someone’s eyes, laughter, and hugs. Behind every number is the boundless grief of parents and bedtime stories left untold.

This is not just a crime. It is an unhealing wound on the body of humanity. And until the world calls it by its true name — Genocide — our hearts will continue to burn with candles of memory and pain.

We must do everything to ensure that none of these names fade into silence. Because silence is consent. And we will never consent.

Eternal memory to the children whose childhood was stolen by war.
Eternal honor to the living who carry this memory through life.
Eternal glory to the heroes who defend every child's right to life, peace, and a future.
