Independence Day of Ukraine: the University Extends its Greetings

Independence Day is a celebration of strength and dignity, a day when we feel the unbreakable bond with generations who dreamed, fought, and created a free Ukraine. It is a day that reminds us: Independence is not a gift, but a daily choice and responsibility.
For Karazin University, an Independent Ukraine is a space of science, education, and free thought. Here, within the walls of the University, generations are being shaped who think boldly, stand for truth, and are capable of building the future of our state.
Today, in a time of great struggle, Independence gains an even deeper meaning. It is measured by the courage of our warriors, the selflessness of volunteers, the resilience of our cities, and the strength of spirit of every Ukrainian. In this struggle, we preserve what is most precious — the right to live on our land, to speak our language, to raise the blue-and-yellow flag into the sky. Independence stands on the bravery of those who defend Ukraine today, and on the eternal memory of those who gave their lives for it.
In this lies the profound essence of our Independence: it is alive, hard-won, and hard-defended — and all the more precious because of it.
Happy Independence Day, Ukraine!
