Crimean Tatar Flag Day

Today we celebrate Crimean Tatar Flag Day — a symbol of strength, unity, and the resilience of the indigenous people of Crimea. This is the national symbol of the Crimean Tatars and a testament to their centuries-long struggle for freedom, dignity, and the right to self-determination.
The blue banner with a golden tamga in the upper left corner represents the clear sky, peace, and the unity of a people forever tied to Ukrainian soil. In today’s reality, this flag has become a symbol of resistance to occupation, a symbol of hope, and the fight for the return of Crimea to Ukraine.
Karazin University expresses its solidarity with the Crimean Tatar people, supporting their rights, culture, and historical heritage. Together — for a free Ukrainian Crimea.
Qırımtatar Bayraq Künü hayırlı olsun!
