Lawyer's Day: the university congratulates

Lawyer's Day is traditionally celebrated in Ukraine on October 8. This is a professional holiday of people who are engaged in legal activities and are responsible for observing the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens.

A civilized society has always sought to regulate its internal and external relations with the help of generally accepted rules, orders and norms - laws. It is believed that it was on this day in 1016 that Prince Yaroslav the Wise of Kyiv issued the first set of laws "Russian Truth".

This holiday unites people who have embarked on the path of justice, order and protection of citizens' interests. Legal experts who are thoroughly familiar with legal sciences and current legislation are always in high demand.

The Faculty of Law of Karazin University has existed since the university was founded in 1804. Thanks to its work, state, public, law enforcement bodies and institutions are replenished with qualified specialists.

Being a lawyer is a great responsibility to people and society, especially in such difficult times. Even despite the difficulties of the wartime, lawyers continue to fulfill their duty and bring our victory closer.
