The University Celebrates The Lawyer’s Day
Today in Ukraine, we celebrate Lawyer's Day - a professional holiday dedicated to upholding justice, order, and a commitment to the principles of the law.
Laws, norms, and rules have always been the foundation of civilized society. It was on this day in 1016 that Kyivan Prince Yaroslav the Wise issued the first set of laws known as the "Ruska Pravda," laying the foundation for justice for future generations.
Today, lawyers protect the rights and freedoms of citizens, bearing great responsibility to society. They are always ready to make efforts to ensure the rule of law and compliance with the laws.
Karazin University can take pride in its School of Law, which has existed since the university's founding in 1804 and provides qualified legal experts to public, state, and law enforcement agencies and institutions.
Congratulations to all lawyers on your professional holiday! We wish you good health, boundless energy, success, and prosperity. May justice always be on your side.
