Philologist’s Day: The University Celebrates

Every year on May 25th, Ukraine celebrates Philologist’s Day.
Philology is not just the science of the word. It is the art of understanding texts, hearing the voice of epochs, interpreting the past, and creating the future. It is philologists who preserve linguistic heritage, explore the cultural codes of nations, and shape the language environment where new knowledge is born.
Karazin University is proud of the members of the School of Philology — those who study native and foreign languages, world literature, folklore, the history of languages and cultures with respect and depth. In your hands lies great responsibility and a noble mission: to preserve the living word, spread humanitarian values, and promote mutual understanding among peoples.
May your work always be a source of inspiration, scientific inquiry, and well-deserved recognition. We wish you boundless energy, creative growth, and professional development!
