Day of the State Emblem of Ukraine: the University Marks 19 February

On 19 February, Ukraine honors one of the main symbols of its statehood — the State Emblem of Ukraine.

The golden Trident on a blue shield is a sign of the millennia-old history of Ukrainian state-building and a symbol of freedom, independence, and national unity. In modern Ukraine, the Trident affirms the continuity of generations, strength of spirit, and the resilience of the Ukrainian people.

For the university community, respect for national symbols is an expression of civic responsibility, patriotism, and commitment to democratic values. By honoring the State Emblem of Ukraine, we reaffirm our devotion to the principles of freedom, dignity, and service to society.
