The Delegation of Kharkiv Universities Visited the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Ukraine

On December 2, 2024, a delegation from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, led by Rectors Tetyana Kaganovska and Ihor Ruban, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Ukraine.

The university representatives were warmly welcomed by embassy staff, headed by the Plenipotentiary Minister and Acting Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Iraq in Ukraine, Mr. Tareq Adil Kazem Al-Shaher.

During the meeting, key issues of cooperation in the fields of culture, science, and education were discussed. Special attention was given to attracting international students to study at Ukrainian universities, implementing projects within academic mobility programs, and offering programs for Iraqi language studies by Ukrainian students as well as Ukrainian language studies by students from Iraq.

This visit marked an important step toward strengthening friendly relations between Ukraine and Iraq and expanding educational opportunities for students, as well as fostering academic collaboration between educators in both countries.

Kharkiv universities continue to actively pursue the development of international cooperation and integration into the global educational community.
