The main goal:

The project’s goal aims to enhance and strengthen the already existing collaboration with Viadrina's Ukrainian partners. The project adopts a holistic approach, fostering collaboration between Viadrina and its Ukrainian partners across disciplinary, faculty, and status group boundaries. It aims to create a shared space for mutual exchange in all three core areas — teaching, research, and knowledge transfer — with a focus on individual and institutional learning from and with one another at the heart of the cooperation. Central to this initiative is a commitment to a transinstitutional learning community that addresses societal challenges in a needs-based manner and reflects on how these challenges can be integrated into academic practice.

Activities:

  • to develop Double B.Sc. in International Business Administration. The establishment of a double degree programme in International Business Administration with Karazin Business School is intended to strengthen the cooperation in an interconnected economic region within the EU and Ukraine.
  • to create COIL courses. Project activities related to COIL and shared classrooms aim to expand international digital teaching formats to promote intercultural exchange, increase learning content related to Ukraine, and promote cooperation in research and its integration into regular teaching. To this end, networking and continuing education events are offered as part of the project;
  • to organize meetings for staff for improving the skills, coordination and monitoring;
  • piloting of COIL courses and double degree program;
  • to organize dissemination of project values and results.

Expected results:

  • COIL courses;
  • Double degree program

At Karazin University, the project is being implemented on the basis of Karazin Business School
