Department of World Politics, Diplomacy and Travel Business
The Department was established in 2003 as part of the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business. For many years, it trained professionals for the international tourism industry — an important factor in Ukraine’s international and European integration, contributing to economic and socio-political connectivity with EU countries.
Ukraine’s further integration into the European and global community and the development of extensive international relations required specialists with an in-depth understanding of regional subsystems of international relations, along with solid political and linguistic training.
In 2014, the Department launched the specialty “Country Studies”, introducing international political education at Karazin University.
