The Department of Ophthalmology

The Department of Ophthalmology was established in the autumn of 2021 and currently provides instruction in the academic discipline Ophthalmology in both Ukrainian and English for fourth-year students majoring in 222 Medicine within the field of study 22 Healthcare.

The clinical bases of the Department are the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise City Clinical Hospital No. 14 named after Prof. L. L. Hirshman of the Kharkiv City Council, as well as the Ophthalmika Medical Center, which are among the leading specialized ophthalmology centers in Kharkiv.

The staff of the Department of Ophthalmology consists of experienced lecturers and clinicians who are highly qualified professionals in various fields of ophthalmology and who continuously improve their professional competence through participation in international forums.
