International Conference "XXI Cyril and Methodius Readings" on the Topic "Integration and Disintegration Processes in Central and Eastern Europe": Invitation to Participate

On May 23, 2025, the School of History, the Student Scientific Society, and the Marin Drinov Center for Bulgarian and Balkan Studies of Karazin University invite you to participate in the International Conference "XXI Cyril and Methodius Readings" on the topic "Integration and Disintegration Processes in Central and Eastern Europe."

The conference is held as part of the project implementation "Eastern Ukrainian Center for European Studies" (EAUCES — ERASMUS-JMO-2024-COE 101176972).

The conference will include discussions in the following areas:

Towards a pan-European cultural and mental space; 
Political transitions in Central and Eastern European countries;
Security challenges for countries in the region;
Features of economic (dis)integration in Central and Eastern Europe;
Between the national and the European: memory policies in the region;
(Dis)integration in Central and Eastern Europe: historiography and source studies.
The conference will be held in an online format.

Application Deadline: April 25, 2025.
