Meeting with Karazinites - Winners of the Ukrainian Futsal Championship Among Higher Education Institutions

On April 15, 2021, Karazin University hosted a meeting with Karazinites who won the XX Ukrainian Futsal Championship Among Higher Education Institutions.

The team of Karazin University confidently won and for the second time in its history was awarded the title of Champions of Ukraine among students.

The team comprised the students of the School of Radiophysics, Biomedical Electronics and Computer Systems Vladyslav Mospan, Stanislav Mospan, Yevhen Puhach, Anton Maslennikov, Illia Terentiev, and Yaroslav Zmiivskyi; the student of the School of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism Vladyslav Vasyliev, and Yevhen Kozlov, a student of the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business; the School of Law students Sava Lutai and Hlib Korsunov; Pavlo Skubchenko and Davyd Kalashnyk, students of the Institute of Ecology, the student of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University Ruslan Polozhii, and Andrii Teriaiev from H. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.

The participants of the meeting were, in particular, Acting University President, Vil Bakirov; Vice-President Anatolii Babichev; Head of the Department of Physical Training and Sports of the University, Oleksandr Temchenko.

All those present expressed admiration for the Karazinites’ athletic achievements. On behalf of the University staff, Vil Bakirov thanked the athletes not only for this victory, but also for having glorified Karazin University and Kharkiv for many years.

At the end of the event, the athletes were awarded commendations and received memorable gifts.
