It is the only Ukrainian university that was invited to initiate the Bologna Process and sign the Magna Charta Universitatum in September 1988. Today, Karazin University not only rises above the architectural landscape of Kharkiv with its majestic buildings, but also above the intellectual landscape of the city — with its scientific and moral authority.
