Karazin University held a ceremony to award Pearson English International Certificate (PEIC) certificates, confirming the recipients’ English language proficiency.

Following testing held on June 13 and 20, 2026, at the Pearson Testing Centre of Karazin University, 11 candidates received international certificates: eight participants demonstrated a B2 level, two achieved C1, and one achieved B1.

The certificate presentation ceremony took place on August 25, attended by Acting Rector of Karazin University Tetyana Kaganovska, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages Svitlana Virotchenko, and Head of the Pearson Testing Centre at Karazin University Nataliia Oliinyk.

Addressing the participants, Tetyana Kaganovska emphasised the particular importance of education and professional development today:

“What we can do above all is continue our work, set goals for ourselves, and achieve them. Every goal we achieve is our response to the enemy and proof that they cannot break our plans or our desire to live, work, develop, and move forward.”

Knowledge of a foreign language today is not only a source of new professional and educational opportunities but also an opportunity to tell the world about our country, resilient Kharkiv, and the powerful Karazin University.

The Pearson Testing Centre at Karazin University invites everyone interested to take the Pearson English International Certificate examination and certify their level of English proficiency.

The next testing session will take place:
