Karazin University Pays Tribute to the Memory of Taras Shevchenko

On March 9th, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University opened its doors to interested applicants!

The event took place in a hybrid format: offline at the premises of Karazin University and online on YouTube and Zoom platforms. Prospective students had the opportunity to explore the opportunities at Karazin University from anywhere in the world. Approximately 2000 applicants joined the event!

Rector Tetyana Kaganovska greeted the future students, emphasizing that Karazin is the heart of Kharkiv. As the oldest university in Eastern Ukraine, it confidently responds to the challenges of the time. According to Tetyana Kaganovska, during times of war, Karazin University does not remain indifferent to current events. New educational programs are introduced, such as physical rehabilitation, medical psychology, and the Academy of Teaching. Karazin understands that the country needs true professionals with innovative approaches. This is what will be taught at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Other representatives of the university also participated in the online broadcast:

  • Chairman of the Student Council Mykita Kucherov shared insights into student life during times of war and how Karazin students can engage in university communities.
  • Chairman of the Admissions Committee Serhii Yeltsov provided information on the admission process for 2024.
  • Representative of the International Relations Office Daria Rashchupkina spoke about academic mobility and opportunities for Karazin University students.

The live broadcast showcased how the offline exhibition of schools took place. Viewers could see what each school and institute prepared for prospective students.

In the offline part of the event, schools and institutes presented their achievements. Applicants had the chance to meet students, professors, deans, and heads of the institute.

During the second part of the Open Doors Day, applicants could ask more detailed questions about admission and education at Karazin University.

Karazin University takes pride in its family! They are delighted to implement large-scale events despite any conditions. They are confident that this year, even more motivated and ambitious students will join their community, and it is these students who represent the future of the country!
