Professor Zakhar Maizelis was awarded the Order of Merit, the 3rd Degree

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, issued a Decree "On Honoring with State Awards of Ukraine on the Occasion of Education Workers' Day."

For significant personal contributions to the development of national education, the training of qualified specialists, many years of fruitful teaching activity, and high professionalism, several educators were recognized. Among them was a representative of Karazin University.

Specifically, Professor Zakhar Maizelis of the Department of Theoretical Physics named after Academician I. M. Lifshitz of the School of Physics, and teacher at the municipal institution "Kharkiv Lyceum No. 161 'Impulse' of the Kharkiv City Council," was awarded the Order of Merit, the 3rd Degree.
