Representatives of Karazin University form a powerful community of socially responsible citizens who participate in all spheres of the country's public life.

On April 25, the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Matviy Bidny, awarded the Kharkiv rugby players, who have been defending our country since the beginning of the armed aggression, with the highest honor of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine — the "Sign of Honor."

Among those who received the award was Mykita Ivchenko, a graduate of the School of Sociology specializing in Social Work, a candidate for the title of Master of Sport in rugby as part of the Kharkiv RC "Legion XIII." From the very beginning of the war, he volunteered for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is currently participating in combat operations. A deep bow and respect to the Heroes who daily fight for the freedom and independence of Ukraine!
