Conference on Accreditation of Educational Programs: Key Discussion Aspects

On April 24, 2024, a regular conference on the accreditation of educational programs took place at Karazin University.

The conference was conducted in an online format. The moderators of the meeting were the Vice-Rector for Research and Teaching, Oleksandr Holovko, and the leading specialist of the Department of Methodological and Accreditation Work, Iryna Hromova.

This time, the participants of the seminar-conference considered two issues related to the challenges faced by the guarantors of educational programs when filling out information for self-assessment of the educational program:

• "Learning through research" - as the tenth criterion for assessing the quality of the educational program of the third (educational-scientific) level. Speaker: Head of the Department of International and European Law, School of Law, Tetiana Syroid.

• "Organization and conduct of surveys of stakeholders of educational programs: graduates, applicants, employers." Speaker: Associate Professor of the Department of Methods of Sociological Research, School of Sociology, Irina Kuzina.

The discussion involved over 120 participants, including program guarantors responsible for the preparation of higher education seekers at the university and leading academic staff of Karazin University.
