Congratulations to Physics Faculty Graduate Serhii Fomin on being Awarded the Title of “Honorary Doctor of the M. M. Bogolyubov Institute of Theoretical Physics”
On September 22, the M. M. Bogolyubov Institute of Theoretical Physics opened the conference “Problems of Theoretical and Mathematical Physics,” dedicated to the institute’s 60th anniversary.
The morning session began with the awarding of the honorary title “Honorary Doctor of the M. M. Bogolyubov Institute of Theoretical Physics” to Serhii Petrovych Fomin, a leading researcher at the O. I. Akhiezer Institute of Theoretical Physics of the National Science Center “Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology” (NSC KIPT), laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology, senior researcher at the Education and Research Institute “School of Physics and Technology” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, and a 1977 graduate of the School of Physics and Technology.
His research interests include quantum electrodynamics, the interaction of high-energy particles with matter, and innovative nuclear energy systems.
We congratulate Serhii Fomin on this high distinction and wish him good health and continued success in his creative and scientific work!
