The Results of the Karazin University Rector Election Have Been Announced

On September 24, 2026, the election of the rector was held at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Voting for the candidates took place in secure spaces on the university premises. This made it possible to continue the voting process without interruption during air-raid alerts.

Following the vote count, Final Protocol No. 13 of the Main Election Commission for the Election of the Head of the Higher Education Institution of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University was drawn up.

The votes were distributed as follows:

• Ruslan Vovk — 439 votes, accounting for 23.59%;
• Tetyana Kaganovska — 1,015 votes, accounting for 54.54%;
• 64 voters, accounting for 3.44%, did not support any of the candidates. 22 ballots were declared invalid.

Thus, Tetyana Kaganovska, Doctor of Law and Professor, was elected Rector of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
